According to KHABR KHODRO, Irankhodro aims to reduce fuel consumption of it’s productions with increasing production of engines with low consumption.
As reporter of KHABAR KHODRO reports, Keyvan vaziri executive and control director of Iran khodro’s standard said: Iran khodro to reduce fuel consumption of less than 7 liters its productions in this year and 6 liters in next years by rising circulation of engines with economy efficiency such as EF7,TU5 and 1.4.
He added: pollution and fuel consumption are two key factors that Iran khodro considers them.
He compared engines made in Irankhodro and said: producing power-engines in range of 2litre by applying turbocharger on EF7 engine is on the agenda .given to down sizing process of engines in world Iran khodro is also to set up engine with the torque of 2.2 L engine but with the consumption of 1.7L on Soren ELX and then Dena.
He mentioned to good investing in this project and added: by the way, good amount of investments is applying on cylinder and cylinder head and assembling these engines.
He noted that ability to obtain European standard is one of advantages of these engines and said: these engines are able to apply highest pollution standards such as Euro 4, 5 and 6 and in case of providing proper fuel possibility of upgrading pollution will be applied.
He said: these engines are produced with two petrol and CNG gas which in future this variety will be more and engines with hybrid and diesel technology will come to market.
He said produce automotive based on national security is of much importance and said: one of strategic plans in Iran khodro is producing cars with variant fuels so consumer’s satisfaction and demands can be considered.
He said Iran khodro is ready to deliver diesel fuel too and added: right now box holder 206 is in diesel kind and as soon as get ready diesel with quality other cars will receive it.
He said: diesel engine are more efficient in addition to reduce 25 percent fuel consumption and high torque, reduce pollution, longevity.
He added: due to high fuel price in Europe more than half of productions are diesel and most of consumers show tendency to use them due economic efficiency.
