Tata Motors considering foreign shores

After seeing enormous success in local and domestic markets, Tata Motors Limited is setting its targets on foreign shores.

According to KHABAR KHODRO, The company is stated that they were viewing foreign countries to set up manufacturing units in a bid to increase its presence in the world wide market.

As mentioned in Annual Report 2010-11 of the company, Tata Motors is all set to produce more fuel efficient cars for both domestic and export purposes. Expansion of horizons was what the company was aiming for and is expected to come to a concrete decision soon.

The company spokesperson said that the company was looking at exports and the possibility of setting up manufacturing units in some foreign countries. Though no details could be revealed, the company was initially weighing its various options about which product would be suitable for certain international markets and would then decide whether the product would be exported or manufactured locally.
