Australia contemplating a business association with Indian auto industry

India’s auto sector has seen tremendous growth in the last couple of years. This has attracted many auto giants around the world and in particular Australian.

According to KHABAR KHODRO, The country is looking for ways to associate itself with Indian auto companies thereby generating better export opportunities.

Mr. Kim Carr, Australian Minister for Innovation, Industry, Science and Research was on a three day visit to India. He informed press that Australia was looking for an opportunity to associate themselves with Indian auto companies.

The Minister, after a meeting with officials of Tata Motors and Mahindra & Mahindra said that Australian technology and skill coupled with Indian knowhow and experience would definitely see the auto sector scale new heights.

The New car plan for a Greener Future which was initiated by Australian Government brought Australia’s auto sector out of the red and projected them as world leaders during recent economic crisis. Indian auto companies too can learn from this experience and scale to new heights.
