Float petrol price in border areas is not effective in preventing the smuggling of fuel

According to KHABARKHODRO, industry and mine commissioner of parliament about operating float fuel price plan in border areas said: since supply of petroleum products has a monopoly on oil department and as a result of not having variant companies in production and apply oil productions and as not being competitive of gasoline market, so fuel price is not different and float gasoline is not effective in terms of achieve to our goals.

Speaking with reporter of KHABARKHODRO, Mahdi sadegh said: in case of operating this plan fuel price should be increased to 5 percent.

He said: since petroleum productions are supplying in different ways so the prices are different too in addition energy carriers price are calculated competitive in most countries.

He also said: operating this plan in border areas appraisal of price would be conducted by governor general.

He noted to preventing of smuggling fuel and reminded: given to be determined of price based on Persian Golf price ,float fuel price can not prevent of smuggling fuel because based on this price fuel differentials in other countries should be reduced.
