Renault Koleos Crossover SUV is expected to be launched by the end of 2011. This SUV from Renault India is expected to be priced at Rs.20 lakhs and will pose some stiff competition to Honda CR-V Crossover, Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavour as well as Chevrolet Captiva, all of which are in the same category and price range.
According to KHABAR KHODRO, Caught while on test at Chennai near Kasi Theatre by Motoroids, Renault Koleos Crossover SUV is expected to be launched with fresh new interiors. Koleos is available in global markets in petrol and diesel variants. An M9R diesel engine is of 150 bhp and 175 bhp as against its petrol counterpart which is in 170 bhp. Available in 4 and 2 wheel drive options internationally, Koleos is expected in these same options for Indian buyers as well.
Twin rear hatch doors were the most noticeable features which allows for easy baggage accommodation. As of now we only have the spy shots to view and will have to wait till year end for actual launch.
