New engines for BMW X3

BMW has announced leadership changes in a range of Bavarian Motor crossover X3, where there are 4-cylinder petrol engine and diesel-row “Six”.

According to KHABAR KHODRO, Soon, customers will receive BMW opportunity to purchase a “SUV” with a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine with direct fuel injection technology. The power plant that runs on gasoline, is fraught with 184 hp and 270 Nm of torque available at 1250 r / min. The “base” BMW X3 xDrive20i is equipped with six-speed manual transmission. Optionally, the “handle” can be replaced with an automatic transmission with eight speeds.

The second new engine in the lineup was the 3.0-liter turbo diesel with the latest generation of direct fuel injection system Common Rail with the pressure of 1800 atmospheres. Power diesel engine is 313 hp, torque is 630 Nm. The most powerful engine in the range of engines in the BMW X3 comes standard with 8-step automatic transmission and fuel-efficient technology, Stop & Start.

The BMW said that the model X3 can be ordered with the upgraded system ConnectedDrive technology and Auto Hold, allowing start with a manual transmission without a rollback.

Premiere xDrive20i and xDrive35d will be held at the exhibition in Frankfurt, which opens to the media on September 13
