The two -day conference, which will open on Sept. 10, will host 46 thinkers and experts from 21 Asian countries and will be held at the Iranian Foreign Ministry's Institute for Political and International Studies (IPIS).

At the start of the event the Head of ICRO Mohammad Baqer Khorramshad will deliver a speech and a message by the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon will be read.

Among the high-profile figures who will address the conference are Secretary General of Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA) Seyyed Hadi Hosseinian-Nejad, Iranian lawmaker Mohammad-Hassan Aboutorabi-Fard, Deputy Speaker of Afghan Senate Mohammad Izadyar, and former President of Turkey's Diyanet organization (Presidency of Religious Affairs) Ali Bardakoglu.

Delegates from Australia, Japan, China, Russia, Indonesia, South Korea, Thailand, Bangladesh, Lebanon, and the Philippines will also attend the conference.

The event features four major forums including "Common Cultural Foundations and Asian Convergence," "Cultural Ties of Asian Nations," "Social ties of Asian Nations and Globalization, and "Civilizational Convergence of Asia."
