Maruti Suzuki India Limited is inching towards the revelation of their new compact model Dzire. MSIL, which has been reeling under pressure due to labor unrest and difference with workers since August 29 is keen on taking advantage of new reduced excise tax policies regarding shorter cars, i.e., sub 4 meters..
According to KHABAR KHODRO, The company has announced that Dzire a sub 4 meter car will be showcased at Delhi Auto Expo 2012.
Known as the Swift 3.99 the new sedan is being developed by Maruti Suzuki at an investment of Rs.500 crores and could initially be made for car markets of Europe and Latin America where smaller and fuel efficient cars are demand.
