According to KHABARKHODRO, secretary of auto manufactures association said: until not applying Euro4 gas oil in all over the country, numbering light diesel cars should not be appropriate.
Speaking with reporter of KHABARKHODRO, Ahmad nematbakhsh said: based on government legislation in 89 all auto manufactures are required to produce these kinds of car based on Euro4 standard from 91 but this act is possible in cased oil department starts to do some measures in this term.
He said: based on mentioned legislation, gas oil and petrol should be distributed in country while no action was done in this term.
He noted: auto manufactures association had some negotiation with oil department but no worth commenting was responded.
He added: Iran khodro and Saipa companies had some tests on these kinds of cars but mass production of them belongs to apply Euro 4 gas oil.
He also noted to advantages of using diesel fuel and added: gas oil has high efficiency than other fuels so using of it had 15 to 20 percent less fuel consumption and also they have less pollution than other fuels.
