Audi TT RS Plus is in the works

According to KHABARKHODRO,The German based automaker Audi is currently working on a direct rival to the popular BMW 1M which will come in the shape of a TT named the RS Plus, where the new model is promising to be light, sporty, more aerodynamic and with its five-cylinder engine developing almost 400 horsepower.

According to Automobile France, quoted by Autoblog.nl, the new TT RS Plus takes its power from the “classic” 2.5 liter five-cylinder engine which is developing 385 horsepower (283 kW) and the vehicle is expected to be lighter than the standard version by more than 100 kilograms.

Besides the impressive performance squeezed from the 2.5 liter five-cylinder unit, the Audi TT RS Plus will come with a new aerodynamic body kit which will include a fixed rear wing and larger alloy wheels, while the ride will be lowered by a few millimeters just to improve the handling and stability and to give the model a more aggressive look.

Sadly we don’t have more details about the Audi TT RS Plus but the German based automaker is planning to introduce its new model sometimes next year. A possible official presentation of the TT RS Plus next year, during an international auto show, may also be in the books.
