Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 debuts in Brazil

According to KHABARKHODRO, The Italian based automaker Lamborghini has recently launched its newest supercar, the Aventador LP700-4 in Brazil, during an event held for media and the company’s customers in a hangar at the Campo de Marte private airport in San Paolo.

“For Lamborghini, Brazil is a young market, a market we believe in. We predict that our sales in this country will have doubled by the end of this year compared with 2012. Seven Aventadors have been sold in Brazil so far, and the first will be delivered by the end of this month”, said the President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, Stephan Winkelmann.

As a reminder, the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 is a two-door, two-seater sports car officially unveiled at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, five months after its initial unveiling in Sant’Agata Bolognese. The Aventador is powered

by a 6.5 liter V12 engine which is developing a total output of 690 horsepower mated to a seven-speed single clutch transmission.

Lamborghini says that the Aventador can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds and it has a top speed of 349 km/h (217 mph), while burning an average of 17.2 liters of fuel every 100 km (13.5 mpg) and emitting 398 g/km of CO2. The suggested retail price in Europe for the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 is 255.000 EUR (379.700 USD).
