According to Khabarkhodro, The German based automaker Opel has officially revealed the Mokka crossover, better known as the Corsa based SUV.

 

After the 2013 Buick Encore has been officially presented to the public at the 2012 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, General Motors has decided to place its European brother into the spotlights too, so the first official images with the Mokka crossover have been released, and this is exactly how the production version of both the Opel and the Vauxhall Mokka will look like. The Opel Mokka is actually smaller than the BMW X1 or the new Audi Q3, being 4.28 meters long, and it will go against models like the Nissan Juke or the upcoming Peugeot 2008, the 208 based SUV.

 

According to the car manufacturer, the Opel Mokka will come with a choice of either all-wheel drive or front-wheel drive and six-speed automatic transmissions and the model will be powered in the beginning by either the 1.6 liter naturally aspirated engine, with its 115 horsepower and by the 1.7 CDTI diesel, generating 130 horsepower, and it will be soon followed by the 1.4 liter turbo engine, which will be developing 140 horsepower and 200 Nm. The new model will also come with ESC, TC, HAS (Hill Start Assist), HDC (Hill Descent Control), bi-xenon headlights with High Bean Assist, front camera system, LDW (Lane Departure Warning), FCA( Forward Collision Alert) and the second generation of the Traffic Sign Recognition.
