Hyundai is planning to introduce the Elantra in Malaysia and after the model has hit several other countries, it’s now getting ready for its future Asian owners.

According to Khabarkhodro,

 

Even if there is no official release date on the new Hyundai Elantra, the South Korean based automaker is rumored to launch the model in Malaysia in four trim levels, three of them based on the 1.6 liter engine and the top of the line coming with the 1.8 liter unit. Rumors say that the new Hyundai Elantra will be launched in Malaysia with the 1.6 liter manual, the 1.6 liter automatic standard spec, the 1.6 liter automatic high spec and with the 1.8 liter unit.

 

The new generation of the Hyundai Elantra will be available in Malaysia with a 5-year or 300,000 km warranty, six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmissions, auto headlamps, smart key with push start button ignition, GPS navigation, supervision mere cluster, reverse camera, dual airbags, iPod and USB connectivity, ABS, ESP and VSM (Vehicle Stability Management). The 1.6 liter models are expected to be priced between RM85k and RM95k, while the top of the line 1.8 liter will come at around RM120k. More details on the model once it will be officially launched.
