2012 Toyota Camry Hybrid launched in Australia

Japan’s largest automaker Toyota has recently announced that the 2012 Camry Hybrid was launched in Australia, where the model has a starting price of AUD34,990.

After becoming available in the United States of America in late 2011, the 2012 Toyota Camry is once again being placed into the spotlights, this time with the company launching it in Australia. The 2012 Toyota Camry can be considered a decent alternative to a diesel mid-size sedan because the model has a starting price of 34,990 Australian dollars and thanks to an improved battery system, this has the ability of running on pure electric mode for a few kilometers at low speeds.

Toyota says that the entry-level Camry in Australia is equipped with a 6.1-inch screen, six-speaker audio system and 16-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Michelin tires, but for 41,490 AUD, the model can be ordered in the luxury spec, which is named the HL, adding features like the rear electric sunshade, electro-chromatic rear vision mirror, premium steering wheel and gear-shift knob, interior leather accents, driver’s seat memory, power front passenger seat, premium door trims, fog lamps, chrome door handles, chrome rear garnish, rear lip spoiler and 17-inch alloy wheels with Bridgestone tires.
