2013 Mitsubishi Outlander going to Beijing

The 2013 Mitsubishi Outlander will be officially presented to the public during the 2012 Beijing Motor Show.

After the all-new Mitsubishi Outlander has been revealed during the Geneva Motor Show, last month, the model will make its Asian debut too at the 2012 Beijing Motor Show. The 2013 Mitsubishi Outlander is actually the production version of the PX-MiEV Concept, and the model is coming with a rounder front fascia, a slender grille, wraparound taillights, higher quality materials used in the cabin like soft-touch plastics and many more other interesting features. The new Outlander can transport five people, but a third row of seats can be ordered as an option, adding two more to the original number.

The all-new Mitsubishi Outlander will be offered to its future customers with a choice of two engines, in Europe at least, the 2.0 liter MIVEC petrol, which is producing a total output of 150 PS and it has a peak torque of 195 Nm (144 lb-ft), and the larger 2.2 liter diesel, generating 150 PS and 380 Nm of torque (280 lb-ft). Besides this version, a hybrid is also expected to hit the market at a later time. The new generation of the Mitsubishi Outlander will be launched in Europe in mid-2012 and right after that the crossover will hit Japan and the United States.
