Audi A4 facelift launched in India

The facelifted version of the Audi A4 has been recently launched in India where the model has a starting price of Rs27.33 lakhs (38,000 euros) for the entry-level version.

The new Audi A4 facelift has been already launched in several markets by now and time has come for India to become one of them. According to the German based car manufacturer, the Audi A4 facelift is available in three versions in the Asian country, the A4 1.8 TFSI (Rs27.33 lakhs – 38,000 euros), the A4 2.0 TDI (Rs29,38 lakhs – 41,850 euros) and the A4 3.0 TDI Quattro (Rs38 lakhs – 54,100 euros). Audi is promising a 10 percent improvement in fuel economy in the facelifted A4.

Exterior modifications on the A4 facelift include the restyled headlamps, new look angled air inlets and fog lights, LED daytime running lights, new front bumper, redesigned taillights, redesigned rear bumper and diffuser, along with a fresh set of 17-inch alloy wheels for the 1.8 TFSI and 18-inch for the 2.0 TFSI. The 1.8 liter TFSI unit is coming with 170 HP and 320 Nm of torque (10 HP and 70 Nm more) and the 2.0 TFSI is developing 211 HP and 350 Nm. The engine is mated to a seven-speed S tronic transmission in the 2.0 TFSI and to an eight-speed multitronic CVT in the 1.8 TFSI.
