BMW M3 and M5 M Performance Editions pricing announced

BMW has recently announced the prices for the M3 and M5 M Performance Editions, which will be launched in the United Kingdom.

According to the German based automaker, the BMW M3 Performance has a starting price of 74,080 GBP and the model is coming with a frozen exterior paint which can be either red, white or blue. The BMW M3 M Performance Edition is also fitted with a piano black interior trim, M Performance badging, a seven-speed M dual clutch transmission and a fresh set of 19-inch M alloy wheels.

The BMW M5 M Performance Edition has a starting price of 95,140 GBP and, just like its smaller brother, it’s available in the same frozen exterior paint in red, white and blue colors. Besides these, the BMW M5 M Performance Edition is also adding M Sport multifunction seats, a loud speaker system and 20-inch light alloy wheels.

The German based car manufacturer didn’t say anything about the M3 and M5 M Performance Editions’ engines and the two models are most likely coming in the same configuration. The M3 is powered by a 4.0 liter V8 engine which is developing a total output of 414 BHP, while its larger brother, the M5, is powered by a 4.4 liter twin turbo V8 unit, with its 550 horsepower and 680 Nm of torque.
