BMW ActiveHybrid 3 performance details released

  According to Khabarkhodro ،The German based automaker BMW has released some impressive performance figures for the ،ActiveHybrid 3, along with additional data and images with the model.

After pulling the wraps off the 2013 BMW 1-Series and from the M135i, the car manufacturer has decided that time has come for the ActiveHybrid 3 to be highlighted too and what better way to do that than by announcing some performance figures with the model, along with additional data and by releasing more official images. The first ever 3-Series Hybrid in BMW’s lineup is named the ActiveHybrid 3 and if we previously thought that hybrid models are being made in order to cut down on fuel consumption and they have low power, think again, because the German carmaker is doing things differently.

The BMW ActiveHybrid 3 is powered by the famous 3.0 liter inline six-cylinder petrol engine, which is producing 306 HP on the 335i version, but when it’s helped by an electric motor which is generating 55 horsepower, “mated” to a lithium-ion battery placed under the trunk, things change. The BMW ActiveHybrid 3 is developing a total output of 340 HP and the model can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.3 seconds, before reaching its electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h. Fuel consumption stops at 5.9 liters every 100 km in an average cycle and the model can travel on full electric range for about 4 km at an average speed of 35 km/h.
