Pars Khodro to Launch Sandro Next Year

 According to KhabarKhodro, Pars Khodro CEO announced the launch of new Sandro in the next year and said: In order to offer more products, Tondar 90 Hatchback will be revealed in the market.

‘Necessary Negotiations for the production of Tondar 90 Hatchback (Sandro) have been begun and the agreements over its price have been finalized’, said Mr. Madani in an exclusive talk with KhabarKhodro.

He asserted: Although Renault Company believes that the project needs more time, Pars Khodro is trying to accelerate this project and its mass production in the next year.

He expressed that Sandro won’t have a considerable difference in price with current Tondar 90. ‘Launching of Sandro will certainly affect the market share for the same-class vehicles. However, it must be noted that because of the low level of vehicle per capita in Iran and the demand of the market, this effect won’t be significant’, he added about the influence of the launch of Sandro over its rivals’ sale market.

He also mentioned the Company’s plan to increase the production by 30% and announced that Pars Khodro focus will be on the manufacturing of Renault and Nissan products.

He pointed to the sanctions and their influence over the production of Renault cars as the most important products of Pars Khodro and denied any difficulty in parts supply and liquidity. 

The only difference he pointed out was the change in the terms of trade with some foreign automakers and their emphasis on the cash payments rather than the past credit businesses.
