Meet the new Mazda6 Estate

According to khabarkhodro ،The new generation of the Mazda6 Estate has been recently revealed in Japan, as the model has entered production at the company’s Hofu plant.

After it was teased a few times in some official images and videos, the new generation of the Mazda6 is almost here and the model has started production at the Hofu plant in Japan just a day before writing this article. But besides the regular sedan version, the new Mazda6 generation will also be offered as an Estate, and this variant has been officially revealed at the ceremony for the production start of the model at the Hofu facility, which was celebrated by 500 people, a representative of the Mazda Workers Uniton, president and CEO Takashi Yamanouchi, executives and employees.

The new generation of the Mazda6 Estate will use a similar front fascia as the sedan but with a more angular rear end and tailgate, along with forward mounted hinges for easier access in confined spaces. Mazda says that the new generation of the Mazda6 Estate will share the same engine lineup with the regular version of the model and this will include the 2.2 liter four-cylinder turbo diesel with 148 BHP and the 2.0 liter Skyactiv engine in two outputs, with 164 BHP and 174 BHP. The 2014 Mazda6 Estate will be officially presented to the public in September, during the 2012 Paris Motor Show.
