Volkswagen Caddy and Transporter Runner entry-level editions launched in Australia

According to khabarkhodro ،The Australian division of Volkswagen has recently announced two limited edition Runner models on the Caddy and Transporter van ranges which will save customers thousands of dollars on the entry-level versions.

According to the German based automaker, the Volkswagen Caddy Runner will only be available in just 200 units in Australia while the Volkswagen Transporter Runner will get 350 units and the first one has been priced at 19,990 AUD while the larger one costs from 29,990 AUD. Volkswagen says that both special editions get a significant price cut over the standard base models and they come equipped with features like the manual air conditioning, hill hold assist or electronic stability control and daytime running lights.

 The Volkswagen Caddy Runner is powered by a 1.2 liter turbocharged petrol engine which is producing a total output of 63 kW and it has 160 Nm of torque, mated to a five-speed manual transmission. The model is burning 6.9 liters of fuel every 100 km in a combined cycle while the larger VW Transporter Runner is getting a 2.0 liter diesel engine with 75 kW and 250 Nm of torque, mated to a five-speed manual transmission. This model is burning an average of 7.5 liters of fuel every 100 km. Both Runner editions get a three-year unlimited-km warranty.
