Toyota Yaris WRC entry-level revealed

According to khabarkhodro ،The Japanese based automaker Toyota has recently pulled the wraps off its latest creation, the Yaris WRC, which will mark the company’s return to rally.

According to the car manufacturer, the Toyota Yaris WRC is known as the TMG Yaris R1A and the model has been developed as an entry-level machine which will be priced from approximately 22,500 euros. Toyota also says that the new racer will be able to compete in the World Rally Championship under the R1A regulations once it will be homologated by the FIA before the end on this years.

“It is a great thrill for TMG to return to rallying, a discipline in which we enjoyed a great deal of success in the past. The TMG Yaris R1A is a completely different project compared to our WRC past; it is an affordable but exciting car which makes rallying’s major events accessible to a whole range of participants. We have already received numerous enquiries about this car so we know there is a huge appetite in the rally world for a new Toyota; I hope this is the start of a new rally dynasty at TMG”, said the Toyota Motorsport president, Yoshiaki Kinoshita.

Toyota says that the Yaris model in question will compete at the Rallye Deutschland with Isolde Holderied behind the wheel as a ‘zero car’.
