EuroNCAP: 2013 Kia Cee’d gets a 5-star rating

According to khabarkhodro، EuroNCAP has recently announced that the new generation of the Kia Cee’d was awarded with a five-star safety rating during the latest crash tests.

After it was officially presented to the public at this year’s Geneva Motor Show, the new generation of the Kia Cee’d makes it into our news once more, this time with the “help” of the safety specialists at EuroNCAP, who have announced that the model has received a 5-star rating. According to EuroNCAP< the new Kia Cee’d has received 89 percent for adult passenger protection, 88 percent for children protection, 61 percent for pedestrian protection and 86 percent for the active safety gear.

Not all went perfect for the new Kia Cee’d generation and the five-door hatchback was named “adequate” in driver’s chest protection in the front impact test and this also happened for the front passenger, who had a “marginal” protection for the left knee, because of the center console. The weakest result scored by the new South Korean hatchback was in the side poll impact, which was named “marginal” for the zone over the seatbelt and “weak” for the chest protection.
