EuroNCAP: Isuzu D-Max gets 4-star rating

According to khabarkhodro ،The new generation of the Isuzu D-Max has recently received a 4-star safety rating during the latest crash tests at EuroNCAP.

The utility vehicle developed by Isuzu, the D-Max, has received only a four-star rating because of the marginal level of protection offered for the knees, hips and chest of the driver in the case of a front impact and things weren’t looking good for the front passenger either. In adult occupant protection, the Isuzu D-Max received 86 percent, 67 percent were offered for children protection and 51 percent for pedestrian protection, while the active safety gear was awarded with a 71 percent rating.

The new generation of the Isuzu D-Max is already available in major markets across the Old Continent and in the United Kingdom, the base entry-level version, the single cab two-wheel drive, can be bought for a starting price of 14,500 pounds (CVOTR) and standard safety features found in this version include the daytime running lights, electric windows, front, side and curtain airbags and air conditioning. The double cab, set further up in the range, can be bought for GBP18,499, and the model is adding the six-speaker sound system, leather wrapped steering wheel with audio controls, 17-inch rims and chrome exterior detailing. The top trim level, named “Utah” is offering more comfort in the cabin thanks to the leather upholstery, heated front seats, automatic climate control, rear parking sensors, roof bars and automatic transmission, for 21,499 GBP.
