New Volkswagen Golf 7 starts at EUR17,800 in Italy

According to the car manufacturer, the entry-level version of the VW Golf 7, the Trendline, will be available to its future owners in the peninsula from 17,800 euros, with its 105 BHP 1.2 liter TSI engine.

Besides the unit mentioned above, the new Volkswagen Golf 7 will also come with a 20 TDI, with a 1.4 TSI and with a 16 TDI, with the latter adding 1,900 euros to the price of the Trendline. The 1.4 liter TSI with its active cylinder system will be launched in Italy in 2013. VW says that for the Comfortline and Highline trim levels, a Light Pack with rain sensing wipers is available, for 165 euros, along with bi-xenon adaptive headlights for 1,805 eurs on the Comfortline and 1,600 euros on the Highline, adaptive cruise control for 545 euros, parking sensors for 550 euros, rearview camera for 215 euros, automatic high beam assist line for 580 euros and much more, which will be announced close to its launch.
