Lamborghini Aventador Roadster rendered once again

After it was caught testing a few times on public roads, the Lamborghini Aventador Roadster is entering our news once again, this time in some renderings which are following the same path as the model seen in spy photos, which means that the engine cover seems to be the same and this will lead to the driver having to get out of the car and manually remove the roof, because it doesn’t have a rear compartment to retract into.

The drop top version of the Italian supercar will most likely get the same engine under its hood as the regular Aventador coupe, the 6.5 liter V12, which is developing a total output of 690 horsepower and it’s being mated to a seven-speed single clutch transmission. The Aventador Coupe can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and it has a top speed of 349 km/h (217 mph). According to the manufacturer, the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 is burning an average of 17.2 liters of fuel every 100 km (13.5 mpg) and the supercar is emitting 398 g/km of CO2. The suggested retail price in Europe for the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 is 255.000 EUR.
