Volkswagen 7-seat SUV to debut at 2013 Detroit Motor Show

According to khabar khodro ،The German based automaker Volkswagen is planning to introduce a new 7-seat SUV during the 2013 Detroit Motor Show (NAIAS).

After some rumors appeared not too long ago, which were saying that Volkswagen is planning to produce a new seven-seat SUV, the car manufacturer is stepping forward and confirming the model, while announcing that its public debut has been set for the 2013 North American International Motor Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, next January. The new model will be produced at the Chattanooga plant in Tennessee and the SUV is expected to hit the market one year later, in 2014.

The new 7-seat SUV signed by Volkswagen is known internally as the B-SUV and the vehicle will get a third row seating arrangement. The model will go on sale in the United States and it will rival the Ford Explorer and the Honda Pilot. The B-SUV will ride on the new MQB modular platform and thanks to this it’s expected to become more affordable than the popular Touareg. Rumor has it that the new VW SUV will be based on the Passat. Additional details on the model are limited for the moment and will be announced in Detroit next year.
