After being officially unveiled a year ago and with the model already going on sale in several markets across Europe or the United States, the new generation of the Honda CR-V is now being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the car manufacturer announcing its Indian debut. The new Honda CR-V will arrive in India over the following months but the automaker didn’t announce an exact date for the moment.
Honda didn’t release any more details on the new CR-V generation aimed towards India, but on the Old Continent the model is coming with a 2.0 liter i-VTEC engine for the entry-level version, producing a total output of 155 HP. The same unit is also being used on the mid-spec. the cheapest diesel is the i-DREC 2.2 liter with its 150 HP and all-wheel drive system. Prices for the new Honda CR-V in Europe are starting at approximately 25,000 euros. The CR-V is more expensive than the Kia Sportage and even the VW Tiguan.
