According to the car manufacturer, the cheapest version of the Mazda CX-5 is available in Malaysia from RM144,125 and it’s coming with two-wheel drive, while the mid-range, also with 2WD, will set you back for RM149,255. If the top of the line is what you’re looking for, than get ready to pay at least RM159,515 before being able to drive it home.

 

The standard equipment list on the Malaysian made Mazda CX-5 includes the automatic headlamps, the rain sensing front wipers, electrically adjustable driver’s seat, auto cruise, smart start system, six airbags, front, side and curtain, fog lamps, immobilizer, alarm system, leather wrapped steering wheel, power door locks with double action, dual exhaust tail pipe, EBD, BA, tire pressure monitor, DSC, TCS and ABS, amongst others. The special accessories package is adding the rearview camera with Color TFT, the 17-inch alloy wheels and the MP3 / Radio / Bluetooth audio system with 6 speakers. The locally-assembled CX-5 is born at Inokom’s facility in Kedah and it’s the second Mazda vehicle assembled there, after the Mazda3, in sedan and hatchback forms.
