2014 Hyundai Tucson Facelift Revealed

According to khabar khodro ،Set to debut at the Geneva Motor Show  next week, Hyundai  has unwrapped its updated Tucson crossover, with a styling update, new interior materials and a direct-injection engine.

While technically the European-market ix35, many of the changes will make their way to North America, including the new LED daytime running lights, an updated front grille and new rim designs.

Hyundai says the interior gets a new TFT Supervision cluster, along with numerous material upgrades to help keep it competitive.

Perhaps most significant, however, is what’s under the hood with the addition of a new 2.0-liter 4-clinder engine that features direct injection. While engine specs haven’t been announced it should make close to 173-hp and 154 lb-ft of torque, which is the rating the same engine gets in the 2014 Kia Forte. Also look for a fuel economy improvement beyond the 22 mpg city and 29 mpg highway rating in the current crossover.

A final feature is the brand’s Flex Steer manually adjustable steering settings that lets the driver choose from three modes: Normal, Comfort and Sport.
