Ford Increases Kuga Production in Europe to Meet Demand

According to khabar khodro، Ford announced it will increase production of the new Kuga SUV by 10% to meet demand.

Ford’s all-new Kuga SUV is being manufactured at the automaker’s plant in Valencia, Spain and production will reach 100,000 units by the end of this year for the first time. Ford will manufacture 96,000 Kuga vehicles at this plant and the rest of 8,000 in Elabuga, Russia. The new Kuga was introduced in Europe earlier this year and had a tremendous success.

In February sales of the model increased 27% and in the US, where the model is known as the Escape, sales were up 28% year-on-year in March, reaching an all-time record month. During the first quarter Kuga sales increased 25% compared with the same period last year. Customers offered a positive feedback for the model’s clever technologies, drive dynamics, space and fuel economy. The Kuga also got a five-star rating, which is the maximum, in the Euro NCAP safety rating.
