“We’re eager to get (the ATS) in the marketplace late this year, early next year”, as Bob Ferguson, the Cadillac global marketing chief, told Wards Auto, during the New York Auto Show. “The XTS is off to a great start there. Orders are strong”, he added.
The Chinese built Cadillac ATS should cut down the production costs and the brand’s car might become more affordable to its future buyers in the Asian country. Cadillac has managed to sell 30,000 cars in China back in 2012 but General Motors is planning an annual sales target of more than 100,000 units by 2015.
