Mitsubishi Mirage to cost around $13,000

The new subcompact vehicle signed by Mitsubishi, the Mirage, is getting ready to be launched in a new market, the United States, where the model is expected to make its way into dealerships over the following months. According to the guys at Auto Guide, the new Mitsubishi Mirage will cost “around 13,000 USD”, once it will hit the market. The announcement has been made by Roger Yasukawa, the Mitsubishi Motors North American product communications manager, after Canadians said that the model will cost “less than 13,000 USD”.

The new Mitsubishi Mirage is a direct rival for the Chevrolet Spark in the United States, which is available from 12,995 USD. The Japanese car is powered by a 1.2 liter three-cylinder engine, which is producing a total output of 74 HP and it has a peak torque of 74 lb-ft. The model will be offered with a five-speed manual or a CVT and it’s expected to return 37 / 44 mpg in city / highway. Additional details on the model will be announced close to its launch.
