Citroen DS Wild Rubis Concept gets detailed

According to khabar khodro ،Citroen has recently released the first details on the DS Wild Rubis Concept, during the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show, where the model has been unveiled.

The newest creation signed by Citroen is named the DS Wild Rubis Concept and the model is a premium SUV which will eventually be transformed into a final production vehicle. The Citroen DS Wild Rubis is aiming towards the BMW X3 and the Audi Q5 and it’s 4.7 meters long, 1.95 meters wide and 1.59 meters tall, being actually longer, wider and lower than the Q5. The DS Wild Rubis Concept has been picked up from where the Numero 9 Concept left off and we can see the design cues and appealing lines which will be adopted by the final production version.

The Citroen DS Wild Rubis Concept is made using an older chassis, rather than using the new EMP2 platform, and it has generous size in the cabin. The model has LED full headlights, a chrome grille with the DS badge, a similar design in the rear, slim taillights, twin tailpipes and 21-inch wheels. The DS Wild Rubis has a hybrid powertrain, which is using a 1.6L turbocharged petrol engine with 225 HP and a 70 HP electric motor, located on therear axle. There is also a lithium-ion battery which can be charged from a regular socket (plug-in hybrid). Total output stands at 295 HP and the CO2 emissions stop at 43 g/km.
