2015 Kia Soul will be longer and wider than the current verson

According to Khabar Khodro , Kia is working hard on the second generation of its subcompact Soul as the car will arrive this fall.

As expected, the 2015 Kia Soul will receive a new design but don’t expect something radical as the vehicle will retain the proportions.

Moreover, the car will be longer and wider than the outgoing model and according to the Korean manufacturer, the new body has nearly 30 percent more torsional rigidity.

New materials will be used for the interior, replacing the hard plastic that we’ve seen on the first-generation. Apparently, Kia replace the hard plastics with soft-touch materials on the dash, door panels and center console.

Under the hood, we will see the same 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine used by the current model. The bigger 2.0-liter petrol engine has been updated with direct-injection technology.

The 2015 is expected to show its new face in November, at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show. More details to be revealed prior to the show.
