10,000 units of Iran Khodro products are going to Russia annually

According to Khabar Khodro, with international prohibitions and exporting barriers Iran Khodro Industrial Group could achieve strict standards of Russia to export Samand family there.

Abdolazim Sadian, exporting and international relations CEO in Iran Khodro with announcing the report said, “According agreement and achieving Euro 4 standard certification from Russia, each year 10,000 units of Iran Khodro products are going to Russia as CKD or CBU.”

He added, “This certification is for all Samand models including LX, SE and Souren ELX with TU5 engine which is valid for 3 years and is extensible to 5 years.”

Sadian admitted, “Producing 10,000 units is considered primarily and the capacity of cars exported from Iran Khodro to Russian market will be increased later.”

He added, “In recent years, products of Iran Khodro Industrial Group were exported as CKD to Belarus and after assembling in this country were sent to Russia. But with taking Euro 4 standard certification from Russia products of Iran Khodro are directly sent to Russian market.”
