According to Khabar Khodro’s journalist, the group program of testing the Koleos has commenced in Wednesday, Aban 8 with moving to Kashan city with efforts of Communications Unit in Pars Khodro Company. Journalists evaluated this car technically and executively, in Saipa Kashan center. Thursday morning, journalists gathered in Saipa Kashan center and after hearing some explanations about car’s technical features, they went to road test center of Saipa Kashan. Journalists have tested Koleos at that place.
Koleos, which is the first experience of Renault in designing and developing a SUV, has been preview in Paris Motor Show 2006 in concept form. It shares its platform with C model of Renault-Nissan, which is among best selling platforms in world. An extended range of Renault and Nissan products such as Megan and Qashqai are enjoying this platform.
Koleos, which is the 10th model of Renault products, has achieved five stars of Euro NCAP.
According to experts, this car is designed in a way that it can be used in small and urban spaces and even crowded cities or out of town. Its powerful engine produces 170 hp and 226 Nm of torque.
Along with power, acceleration and speed Koleos also has a good handling. Its seats are so comfortable, too.
Its engine capacity is 2500 cc mated to an advanced CVT transmission. It has top speed of 185 km/h with combined fuel consumption of 9.5 L/100 km. In addition, it features panoramic roof and blind spot warning system.
Other safety and facility features of Koleos include downhill speed control, 6 airbags, ABS brakes, central lock, electronic steering wheel, automatic air conditioning, driver’s electric and heated seat, folding rear seats, pre-tensioning seat belts, xenon headlights, blind spot warning system and ESP.
It is to say that, along with testing Koleos, second specialized conference of cars’ significations has also accomplished in Saipa Kashan.
