According to Khabar Khodro, the CEO of Saipa Auto Group said, “Considering available resources in country, global automakers should know the car market of Iran as a 400 million market.”
According to reporter of Khabar Khodro, engineer Saeid Madani in international conference of auto industry said, “It is 50 years that Saipa was established and in recent 2 decades production capacity in Saipa has reached to 1 million units annually with developing 1000 parts supplying companies in Iran.”
He admitted, “Now most of the market share and production of passenger vehicles in Iran belong to Saipa and it also achieved best exporter title for 5 consecutive years and superior exporter in country for 2 consecutive years in auto industry by exporting to neighbor countries and African countries.”
He told, “Saipa has more than 100 subsidiaries, which do designing, engineering, parts making, financial and commercial affairs and after sale services of Saipa according to needs of an automaker.”
“In recent decades, partners of Saipa were Korean Kia Motors, French Citroen, and most recently Chinese Brilliance. Pars Khodro in Saipa Auto Group has long term cooperation with Renault-Nissan alliance and also previously it was developing luxury and SUV vehicles of Nissan,” he said.
Madani mentioned that Saipa has capability to design and develop platform and added, “Considering formed capabilities in recent decades and with transferring technical science from big automakers in world and also with leaning on efforts of Iranian engineers, it is possible to design and develop all parts of a car in Saipa Auto Group.”
Madani mentioned to accomplished acts in designing and engineering in Saipa, explained the potential and available investments in this segment as acceptable and announced effective actions of inside experts in designing products.”
The CEO of Saipa Auto Group remarked, “CBU Imports in cooperation with global automakers would be limited and in lees circulation, so domestic building of products should be considered in cooperation.”
Finally, he said we hope until the end of this year Tiba 2 reach mass production and with cooperation of Kia and Renault Serato and b90 line up to be developed.
