Launching 2 facelifts and one product annually by Iran Khodro

According to Khabar Khodro, the CEO of Iran Khodro said, “This company has planned to launch one new product and 2 facelifts by 2017 in order to lead car market in Iran. After that there is also a plan to produce 10 vehicles within 8 years that end in 2025.”

Engineer Hashem Yeke Zare’ in international conference of auto industry added, “Production capacity of this group is 850000 units annually. This amount gives us a good potential for move quickly in improving quality and quantity of production along with launching new and diverse products in order to lead car market in Iran.”

He admitted, “We are willing to launch 2 facelifts and one product annually by 2017. In this plan, products’ export share is considered as 30 percent and launching new products with technological platforms is also among our priorities.”

According to Yeke Zare’, “cooperation with famous automakers in world for developing new vehicles”, “improving efficiency and quality in level of global class” and “using outsourcing capabilities in order to achieve global quality with competitive price” are among plans and goals of Iran Khodro will follow in cooperation with global automakers until 2017.”

The CEO of Iran Khodro told, “There is a god environment in Iran Khodro for cooperation with global automakers, parts makers and presenters of technical – engineering services. This group has planned as biggest automaker in Middle East to launch 10 products to the market by developing 2 new platforms, between 2017 and 2025.”

He remarked, “Iran’s auto industry and parts making is completely ready and capable to cooperate and collaborate with global automakers but our approach is now different and assembly is not our desirable condition.”

Yeke Zare’ mentioned to Iraq, Syria and Russia as three important markets of this company and said from 2005 to 2012, Iran Khodro has exported 222000 units totally. He added, “Now, there are 779 dealerships for sales and after sale services in Iran and about 140 offshore dealerships in export markets all of which support products of Iran Khodro Industrial Group.”
