85 percent locally produced Padra truck will launch in market

According to Khabar Khodro, CEO of Zamyad in introduction event of company’s new product said, “Zamyad has introduced Pandra in order to improving quality and updating lightweight commercial vehicles and supplying costumers’ need.”

According to Khabar Khodro’s reporter Fereydoun Hamidi in a press conference said, “85 percent locally produced Padra truck will launch in market by next year.”

He said it is planned to produce 5000 units of this truck initially and added, “We are capable to produce up to 10000 units of this car if it receives good reactions.”

He admitted, “Blue Nissan truck will not be replaced by Padra truck but Padra will be built and launched along with it.”

Hamidi told, “Zamyad’s new product, Padra has different advantages compared to Nissan truck and other competitors and duty vehicles available in market. It sports hydraulic steering, Euro 4 engine, adjustable seats, power mirrors, air con and has 12L/100km fuel efficiency.”

He remarked, “With Padra traditional look of Nissan truck has changed to a modern and appealing vehicle.”

“Until today, we have helped 45 milliard tomans to country’s economy by producing 60000 units of diesel Nissan truck,” he added.

About future, he explained, “By next year we will produce 40000 blue Nissan trucks. In addition producing 5000 units of Pandra is in our agenda for next year.”
