Improving cars’ exports is possible by removing barriers of production

According to Khabar Khodro, member of Industries and Mines Commission in Parliament said, “Quality, price and using updated technologies are the most important factors for exporting cars that should be considered as epigraph of automating companies.”

Hossein Garousi in an interview with Khabar Khodro’s reporter told, “If automakers pay attention to quality, price and technology in production then cars’ export possibility would be better in current conditions.”

About 9 percent decrease of production I first 9 months of this year he added, “Although the minister of Industry, Mine and Trade told that any cooperation with foreign automakers should be based on 30 percent exports, it seems that such a condition for exports in cooperation with foreign partners exists as before.”

He admitted, “This year, the most important reason for 88 percent decrease in export was decrease in cars production. Certainly, compensating this issue and improving production along with considering three mentioned factors would result in export growth as now world needs products with high quality, good price and updated technologies.”

Garousi remarked, “However, these are the issues that their infrastructures and conditions are ready and it just needs some effort in order to be accomplished.”

He explained, “If cars’ production does not increase then most of the programs of automakers according to strategy of developing auto industry and export would not be accomplished.”

Finally, he said, “Certainly, with improving exports and exchange coming from this action cars’ prices would decrease slightly.”
