According to Khabar Khodro, Kia has rolled out a new special-edition model in its light Rio hatch range, adding new features to the entry ‘S’ five-door model.
Priced from $16,190, the new special adds 15-inch alloy wheels, six-speaker audio with two tweeters, leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob, cruise control, alloy pedals and front fog lights.
In all, Kia says it has added around $1000 in extras to the popular hatch, while the drive-away pricing means the carmaker is covering all costs.
Power in the Rio S - and this special-edition version - is provided by Kia’s 1.4 litre petrol engine, producing 79kW and 135Nm of torque.
Fuel consumption is rated at rated at 5.7 l/100km with the manual model, and 6.3 l/100km with the four-speed auto.
