According to Khabar Khodro, the CEO of Iran Khodro Industrial Group in Tabriz International Motor Show told, "Because of sanctions in years 91 and 92 production has decreased significantly but from Mehr of last year until Shahrivar in this year the problems solved somehow as 126000 units of vehicles were produced in this period and now we reached normal level in production and we would produce 600000 units by year end."
According to the reporter of Khabar Khodro, Hashem Yeke Zare' added, "Production was not always our goal and if we could have good export sales it shows production development and god quality of our products."
He remarked, "Now production is second priority of Iran Khodro and there has been a lot of activities for developing products and now our basic priority is manufacturing Iranian products with design of our engineers. In addition, we are willing to attend European and non Asian partners or even non European ones with the theme of win-win benefits."
He told, "According to determined plans, we would have a new product and a facelift every 6 month and a new engine family every 3 years."
He admitted, "Now cooperation with china is our second or third priority and 90 percent of products in Iran Khodro would be Iranian and high quality."
He reiterated, "There would be good news for after sales services and guarantee of products would be increased to 3 years while this would become 5 years for powertrains. Customers can expect good quality and after sales services."
He mentioned to the unveiling of two new products of Renault in Iran Khodro at this show and told, "We believe that CBU imports are against national benefit and Iran Khodro is not following such a goal. But in order to complete our offering and launching products to market a limited number of Clio and Capture would be launched as CB. Soon, production line of these products would be built."
He said, "We welcome any criticism but let's try working together for improving this industry in order to make it the locomotive of other industries."
