2016 Ferrari FF facelift spotted testing in Sweden

According to Khabar Khodro, the rumours that Ferrari had started work on the FF facelift have finally been put to rest now. Here are some exclusive pictures of the FF three-door shooting brake, winter testing in Sweden. This testing is expected to go on for quite sometime and we can soon expect more spy-shots.

This is the mid-life facelift that Ferrari has started testing. Only the fascia sports the camouflage and no other areas have been covered. This hints that this prototype doesn't have many major design changes apart from the slightly tweaked bumper.

Nevertheless, according to the reports, the owner of this revised FF will be offered to choose how to customise his car, including opting from a luxurious full-glass roof or a carbon fibre one with racing pedigree.

The Ferrari FF's engine is not expected to be downsized and it will still continue to employ the 6.3-litre V12 mill. In fact, the carmaker might additionally boost the power output to 700bhp by pairing the engine to an electric motor. The current FF's engine comes mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, which is expected to be replaced by an eight-speed one that will help improve the fuel efficiency.
