New Holden Cruze Spied Testing

According to Khabar Khodro, next generation Holden Cruze prototype has been spotted undergoing cold-weather testing, and there are more than a few key differences between it and the Chinese-market version.

The overall silhouette is similar, but the prototype's dual-port front grille appears less dominant than the Chinese model, while the wing mirrors are mounted to the door skins rather than nested in the corner of the window frame.

But most telling are the more prominent curves in the side sheetmetal.

This prototype shows heavier contouring than the Chinese-market Cruze, and the fact that General Motors has covered the whole car in camouflage indicates there's more than just a nose job here

It's still too early to speculate about engines, but a 1.4 litre turbo and larger-capacity naturally-aspirated petrol engines will be offered.
