Automakers are trying to satisfy local costumers

According to Khabar Khodro, member of Commission of Industries and Mines in Parliament said, "Finalizing agreements would not have significant effect on auto industry of Iran as the basic problem in this industry is the result of local barriers and managements."

Nader Ghazi Pour in an interview with Khabar Khodro's reporter told, "Unfortunately, lack of financial discipline has increased the production costs of manufacturers between 8 to 13 percent. If the condition is improved, the price of cars would be decreased 13 percent."

He added, "If extra costs are removed, the price if cars would be decreased and therefore there would be no need to the removal of sanctions."

He admitted, "However, last year the production costs in auto making companies has decreased somehow but still there is more need to serious acts for the issue in order to satisfy customers."

He remarked, "Unfortunately, auto industry became the backyard of some political groups, which should be confronted. So, by solving this problem and buying parts directly we can expect effects in costs of automakers."

He reiterated, "Automakers are economic organizations so if we look at them politically there would be no surprise to see many problems and events for them."

Finally, he mentioned to the necessity of supporting local production and said, "At first, the use of local products should become a culture for improving the production in county. In such a condition, if every family buys an Iranian vehicle, an Iranian family would get a job."
