According to Khabar Khodro, the CEO of Bahman Motor during the opening of Isuzu D-max production line told, “We are proud that that welcome public to opening of production line for dual and single cab trucks.”
According to the reporter of Khabar Khodro, engineer Davoudzade said, “Considering high market share of light diesel vehicles in world and the order of governors for diversity of fuel in vehicles’ portfolio, Bahman Motor Company has made diesel truck in its agenda.”
He added, “The approach of Bahman Group has been the production of high quality products with cooperation of famous global automakers. Considering long term cooperation of Bahman Group with Isuzu, commercial vehicle maker in Japan with highest sales in commercial vehicles’ market, we have started production of Isuzu D-max.”
He admitted, “Among features of Isuzu D-max truck one could mention to powerful 3000 cc Euro 4 engine with turbocharger and intercooler and 163 hp of power and 360 Nm of torque and combined fuel consumption of 8.4 L/100km. It also sports AWD system, distinct chassis, cruise control and airbag.”
He remarked, “Among positive aspects of this project there is the amount of localization of vehicle’s parts from the beginning. According to policies of Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade, this vehicle would be produced at first with 26 percent localization, which would reach to more than 40 percent after one year.”
He reiterated, “One of the results of this project would be employment for 200 people in case of reaching full capacity production that we hope it to be continued with supports of governors, government and related organizations.”
Davoudzade added, “Now, production amount of Bahman Motor is increased 115 percent as compared to same time last year and in addition to it, the quality value of company has also increased.”
Finally, he told, “I should thank Isuzu Company for its supports and efforts of board of management and the CEO of Bahman Group, engineer Soroush and other colleagues.”
