New generation of Mercedes Benz products would be added to portfolio of Iran Khodro Diesel

According to Khabar Khodro, the CEO of Iran Khodro Diesel in 13^th Transportation and City Services Show has announced the launch of Arena 6 tones truck in near future, which is in its quality test level.

Gholam Reza Razazi also mentioned to the negotiations with Mercedes Benz and announced the launch of new generation of heavy duty Actros next year and in upcoming shows of this company.

About process of negotiations of this company with Mercedes Benz he said, “Our relationship with this automaker is improving and advancing quickly and in future we would see the addition of some its new products to portfolio of Iran Khodro Diesel.”

He also remarked the plans for using technology and science of Mercedes Benz in products of Iran Khodro Diesel and the agreement for using new 900 series motor of Mercedes Benz for Arena truck.

He added, “New 900 series motor of Mercedes Benz, which features more power and standards compared to existing motors would be produced at IDEM company and replace the engine of Arian mini bus.”

Razazi also announced the design of new 7 meter two door mini bus with more occupant capacity and remarked that 12 meter and 18 meter city buses, which are designed with experts of Iran Khodro Diesel, are now prototyped and testing.
