Production of V series tires for the first time in Yazd Tire Company in Iran

According to Khabar Khodro, Yazd Tire Company in 13^th festival of National Production-National Pride has been placed among 21^st selected companies of all manufacturing units in country and has taken appreciation tablet and statue.

The CEO of Yazd Tire Company in an interview with Khabar Khodro’s reporter told, “The Company launches its products with Yazd Tire nameplate and is leading in industry of updated tires’ production. For the first time in country, the company has started production of V series tires with endurance of 240 kmh of speed, two years ago.”

Dr. Eskandar Sotoude said, “New tires of this company that were previously imported are offering in 195/60-R15, 205/55-R16, 215/60-R16 and 215/55-R17 sizes but now they are producing and launching by Yazd Tire.”

As he said, in addition to continuous production of new tires for new passenger vehicles, production of wired radial tires for trucks are also in agenda of Yazd Tire Company to launch by next year.

He admitted, “Now, locally produced V series tires are considerably less expensive as compared to imported ones and prevent exchange exit and local automakers would not need importing tires while using them.”
