نامه‌اي كه متكي به «بان‌كي‌مون» داد

متن فارسي و انگليسي نامه منوچهر متكي، وزير امور خارجه ايران، درباره فاجعه غزه، روز چهارشنبه به «بان‌كي‌مون» دبير كل سازمان ملل متحد تحويل شد.

در اين نامه آمده است:

جناب آقاي بان كي مون

دبيركل محترم سازمان ملل متحد

مايلم توجه آن جناب را به وضعيت جاري در نوار غزه در فلسطين جلب نمايم. اين منطقه طي روزهاي اخير شاهد وقوع حوادث خونبار و جنايات فجيع عليه بشريت و كشته و زخمي شدن صدها فلسطيني بدست نيروهاي اشغالگر صهيونيستي مي‌باشد. رژيم صهيونيستي با سوء استفاده از سكوت دولتها و بي تفاوتي مجامع بين‌المللي در عمل به مسئوليت هاي انساني و قانوني آنها در حفظ امنيت و پاسداري از حقوق ملتها، بدون كوچكترين توجه به تعهدات قانوني، موازين حقوق بشر و معيارهاي شناخته شده بين‌المللي، پس از يك دوره طولاني تجاوز نظامي، ارتكاب جنايات وحشيانه و اعمال محاصره تمام عيار و كاربرد فشارهاي بي وقفه سياسي و اقتصادي عليه مردم مظلوم فلسطين، بويژه ساكنان نواره غزه، نابودي و قتل عام روزانه زنان، كودكان و مردان بي دفاع اين سرزمين را در برابر ديدگان دنياي متمدن، در دستور كار خود قرار داده است.

جناب آقاي دبيركل؛

براي ملت‌هاي جهان جاي اين سوال باقي است كه چرا با وجود سياست رژيم صهيونيستي در قتل عام و كشتار وحشيانه مردم فلسطين و پيگيري تروريسم دولتي سازمان يافته، اين رژيم كماكان عضو سازمان ملل باقي مانده است. جنابعالي به خوبي واقفيد كه اين رژيم تنها عضو سازمان ملل است كه عضويتش در اين سازمان به صورت مشروط پذيرفته شده است؛ درحالي كه اين رژيم به هيچ يك از تعهداتش عمل نكرده است.

ترديدي نيست كه استمرار اين وضعيت در راستاي نسل كشي و هولوكاست واقعي، پيامدهاي خطرناكي براي صلح، ثبات، آرامش و امنيت منطقه بحراني خاورميانه و جهان به همراه خواهد داشت.

اينجانب به نمايندگي از دولت و ملت ايران، ضمن محكوم نمودن اين گونه اقدامات و هشدار نسبت به بروز فاجعه بزرگ انساني در نوار غزه، از جنابعالي به عنوان دبيركل سازمان ملل متحد درخواست مي‌نمايم در راستاي عمل به وظايف قانوني و انساني خود، تمامي مساعي خويش را در جهت توقف اقدامات ضد انساني رژيم صهيونيستي و كمك به كاهش درد و رنج ملت فلسطين بكار بگيريد.

Excellency,

I wish to draw your attention to the ongoing tragic situation in the Gaza Strip in Palestine. In the past several days, the said region has been yet again witnessing bloody actions and atrocious crimes against humanity perpetrated by the Zionist occupying forces, resulting in the death and injury of hundreds of Palestinians. Exploiting the silence of the international community, and at the absence of appropriate actions by the relevant international fora in discharging their humanitarian and legal responsibilities with regard to the maintenance of the security of nations and safeguarding their rights, the Zionist regime is once again committing abhorrent crimes against the Palestinians, in full contempt for the most basic principles of human rights and other well-recognized international norms and regulations. After a long period of military aggression, all-out blockades, perpetration of brutal crimes and applying unabated political and economic pressures against the innocent Palestinians- particularly the people in the Gaza Strip, the Zionist regime has now put on its agenda the daily massacre of defenseless women, children and men in the said occupied territories, before the eyes of the civilized world.

The question arises for the nations across the globe as to why the Zionist regime, with its atrocious massacre of the Palestinian people and with its relentless pursuit of state- terrorism, has been allowed to continue to be a member of the United Nations. As Your Excellency are well aware, the said regime is the only member of the United Nations whose membership has been conditional, and it has not fulfilled any of its commitments.

There is no doubt that the continuation of this genocide and actual holocaust will bring about dangerous ramifications for the peace, stability, tranquility and security of the volatile region of the Middle East and the whole world at large.

On behalf of the Iranian Government and people, and while condemning such Israeli crimes and warning on the possibility of the occurrence of a grave humanitarian disaster in the Gaza Strip, I wish to request Your Excellency, as the Secretary General of the United Nations and in line with the legal and humanitarian responsibilities bestowed upon you, to take all necessary measures in order to stop the inhumane actions of the Zionist regime, and to help alleviate the sufferings of the Palestinian people.
